Velkommen til årets første kreative verksted på kveldsåpent museum! Denne gangen skal vi lage plante- og stiklinghenger av gamle prøveglass fra våtmagasinet.

Antall glass og variant velger du selv - dette kan bindes opp i utallige variasjoner.

Glassene selges for kr. 10-20 kr. pr stk, eller stiller vi med alt annet nødvendig utstyr
Verkstedet krever ingen forkunnskap
Du kan komme når det passer deg innenfor tidsrommet
Barn anbefales å ha følge med en voksen

TIPS! Kl. 19.00 samme kveld kan du høre mer om hva slike glass brukes til i museumssamlingene: VIN&VITEN | Sylta kunnskap: de zoologiske samlingene. Du kan også være med på besøk til kjelleren for en nærmere titt på samlingene (påmelding samme dag, begrensa antall plasser).

Arrangementet er del av serien "Onsdag på museet", med kveldsåpent museum og arrangementer én dag i måneden.

CREATIVE WORKSHOP | Cutting hangers from old specimen jars

Old specimen jars from the museum’s wet collections can be used for many different purposes. During the late-opening museum evening on Wednesday, 14 January, we will transform them into decorative hanging holders for plants and cuttings.

Welcome to the first creative workshop of the year at the late-opening museum! This time, we will be making plant and cutting hangers using old specimen jars from the wet collections.

You choose how many jars and which type you would like — they can be assembled in countless variations.

The jars are sold for NOK 10–20 per piece, and we will provide all other necessary materials.
No prior experience is required.
Join us whenever it suits you within the timeframe.
Children are recommended to attend with an adult.
No registration is required.

TIP! At 19:00 the same evening, you can learn more about how such jars are used in the museum collections at VIN&VITEN | The pickled library: the zoological collections. You can also join a guided visit to the basement for a closer look at the collections (same-day registration, limited number of places).

The event is part of the series “Wednesday at the Museum”, with late-night exhibitions and activities once a month.
