Want to learn how to manage research data effectively and in line with good practice? Interested in gaining experience of data stewardship outside the university sector?
If so, then TEK-8507 Data Stewardship (3 ECTS) is the PhD course for you!
🧐Why: Build transferable skills in research data management, including through a non-academic industry placement.
❓What: 3 ECTS PhD course taught by experienced, multi-disciplinary experts from the University Library.
🎓Who: The course is tailored to the needs of PhD candidates from all research backgrounds (but if space permits we welcome post-doctoral researchers).
🗓️When: The course consists of 3 modules, and runs from February to June 2026 (see the Data Stewardship High North Academy page for details).
📍Where: Module 1 is an online MOOC, Module 2 takes place at UiT Breivika campus, and Module 3 will be with a local industry partner.
