PEERS is holding a Summer Workshop on latest technologies for sustainable urban development. Professors from our partner institutions in India and Japan will give lessons on the topics of Wastewater and water treatment technologies, Recycling of materials, Developments in sensor, energy efficient and smart buildings.
The workshop will also include presentations from Industry, visit to local industrial sites.

A joint workshop on “Technologies for sustainable development” was conducted on 6th November 2024 at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus as a part of a collaborative project (BRIDGE: Collaboration in Microbial Fuel Cell, Research & Innovation-driven Graduate education) funded by the Norwegian Research Council. The workshop was conducted offline, bringing together distinguished researchers and academics from India and Norway, and fostering knowledge exchange on cutting–edge technologies and sustainable solutions in the energy sector. The workshop attracted an impressive crowd of 50 eager participants, all excited to engage and learn together
As part of our regular seminar series to connect partners from the BRIDGE and PEERS projects, we held a Research Seminar at UiT Narvik on 10 September 2025.
The session included four presentations:

Adding even more value, Harpal Singh and Nitesh Pandey shared updates on their ongoing projects. It was wonderful to see Rajnish Kaur Calay, Fasil Ejigu Eregno, Mohamad Y. Mustafa, Somil Thakur, Samad Ali Taj and all others coming trainher to exchange ideas.A big thanks to everyone who made the seminary engaging and collaborative.
