Venue: UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Tromsø — –
The International Conference on Language, Brain, and Learning: Effects of Multilingualism, organized by the Center for Language, Brain & Learning (C LaBL) at UiT The Arctic University of Norway, is dedicated to advancing integrative and interdisciplinary research on multilingualism. It will bring together scholars from linguistics, cognitive neuroscience, psychology, education and other fields with the explicit aim of developing a unified understanding of how multilingual experience simultaneously shapes language systems, brain organization, and learning processes across the lifespan. Rather than treating these domains as separate areas of inquiry, the conference foregrounds their deep interdependence and will feature contributions that explicitly bridge them.
This conference is organised by the Center for Language, Brain & Learning (C‑LaBL), UiT The Arctic University of Norway, with the support of the Trond Mohn Foundation.
