First COMICA Workshop

COMICA stands for Comics for Organizational Meaning-making and Inclusive Academic Arena. Using humour and comics, COMICA invites UiT employees to reflect critically on their own experiences, question dominant narratives, and explore new perspectives on what diversity means in academic spaces.

At this workshop you will:

Learn how we can use comics to represent, reflect on, and, not least, laugh about our academic work environment.
Experiment with your own characters and narratives.
Create new stories about diversity (roles, gender, generations, cultures, and more).

This workshop will take 3-4 hours (including coffee & fruit, and a light lunch) and is for UiT employees who want to explore academia from a fresh, creative perspective.

A few days before the workshop, partecipants will receive a gift that we hope will brighten their day and get them in the right “mood” for the workshop!
