Petter Bjørklund

During this Diversity in AI segment, we bring together an interdisciplinary and diverse group of experts to address the disparities in AI in Norway and the world today, the dangers that come with it, and discuss initiatives to ensure inclusivity and diversity in AI for the future.

This year's "Diversity in AI" delves deeper into how AI can inadvertently reflect and perpetuate societal biases, and how misinformation or flawed data can lead to biased AI systems

This topic will be explored through a series of keynotes from these experts – who will convene for a panel discussion which addresses how biased AI affects us, and how it can amplifiy biases among historically marginalized groups

You will meet these experts at "Diversity in AI":

  • Alex Moltzau, Policy Officer at the European AI Office of the European Commission
  • Mihaela van der Schaar, Professor at the University of Cambridge
  • Artem Galushko, Researcher at UiT- The Arctic University of Norway and Integreat - Norwegian Centre for Knowledge-driven Machine Learning
