Utstillingen "Looking Beyond", kuratert av Filippo Maggia, er en samling av satellittbilder, jordfragmenter farget med nesten alle kromatiske toner, hver med sin spesifikke betydning.
Disse fargerike lappeteppene og mosaikkene vitner om livet i en by, aktiviteten til en vulkan, historien til en innsjø eller en isbre, en skog eller en ørken, et atmosfærisk fenomen eller en ørkenspredningsprosess.
Utstillingen er fremmet av det italienske utenriksdepartementet, den italienske romfartsorganisasjonen (ASI) og Telespazio S.p.A./e-GEOS. Den setter fokus på skjønnheten til en planet i fare og hvordan teknologi kan bidra til å forstå og beskytte miljøet.

The exhibition "Looking Beyond", curated by Filippo Maggia, is a collection of satellite images, terrestrial fragments colored with almost all chromatic tones, each with its specific meaning.
These colorful patchworks and mosaics testify to the life of a city, the activity of a volcano, the history of a lake or a glacier, a forest or a desert, an atmospheric phenomenon, or a desertification process.
Promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Italian Space Agency, and Telespazio S.p.A./e-GEOS, this exhibition aims to narrate the beauty of a planet at risk and the potential of Italian satellite technologies in the service of Earth.
