Lots of research, but few patents

In May 2025, Norinnova held InnoHub's very first seminar on "Intellectual property rights" (IPR).

The seminar, titled "Patent or publish: a binary choice?", was opened by Håkon Gustafson Giæver from Norinnova. The aim of the seminar was to motivate researchers to think about IPR, or "immaterial rights", early in the research process in order to increase the possibilities for commercial success and societal impact.
