Job description

Jeg er førsteamanuensis i samfunnssikkerhet ved Institutt for Teknologi og Sikkerhet (ITS). I perioden 2020-2022 var jeg Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellow ved Roskilde Universitet i Danmark.

Doktoravhandlingen min omhandlet beredskapsbegrepet sett i lys av usikkerhet, med eksempler fra El Niño varsling og beredskap i Sør Amerika. Som postdoktor i Danmark jobbet jeg med internasjonal poltikk med antibiotikaresistens som hovedfokus. I senere tid er jeg mest opptatt av å forstå hvordan kriser og krisedeklarasjoner påvirker samfunnet og spesielt hvordan forestilinger om (fremtidige) kriser påvirker oss kulturelt, politisk, og sosialt sett.
