Job description

Konstantinos er stipendiat ved Norsk senter for havrett (NCLOS), med fokus på skipsfart, miljøvern av marine økosystemer, økosystemtilnærming, og polare områder.

Konstantinos studerte jus ved Democritus University of Thrace og har to mastergrader, en i folkerett fra National and Kapodistrian University of Athens og en i havrett fra UiT – Norges arktiske universitet. Han har jobbet som advokat i Hellas og er medlem av Athens advokatforening. Han har også vært BlueBook- praktikant i EU- kommisjonens generaldirektorat for maritime anliggender og fiskeri, og har vært i praksisopphold i den internasjonale sjøfartsorganisasjonen (International Maritime Organization - IMO). Han begynte som stipendiat ved UiTs NCLOS i april 2022. Doktorgradsavhandlingen hans har tittelen "The Implementation of the Ecosystem Approach in Shipping: Norwegian Practice and Prospectives".
