Job description

Jeg er førsteamanuensis i maskinlæring ved UiT Maskinlæringsgruppen.

Jeg er PI ved senteret for forskningsdrevet innovasjon SFI Visual Intelligence i forskningsutfordringen Kontekst og Avhengigheter, der vi har som mål å utvikle dyp læringsmodeller som kan inkorporere kontekst og tidligere kunnskap for å begrense løsninger og hjelpe modelltrening i situasjoner med begrensede datamengder. Slik kunnskap kan stamme fra topologien eller geometrien til objekter, eller fysiske modeller som styrer dynamikken knyttet til dataene.

Jeg er også PI ved senteret for fremragende forskning for kunnskapsdrevet maskinlæring SFF Integreat i forskningstemaet Struktur og Logikk, der vi utvikler nye metoder for å sammenflette maskinlæring med logisk inferens på deterministisk og probabilistisk kunnskap i logisk form.

Jeg er spesielt interessert i biomedisinske anvendelser, som spenner fra mikroskopi og romlig biologi, til medisinske bildeanvendelser som dynamisk PET, mammografi og ekkokardiografi.
